Hydraulic press arcade manual

Mission

You operate the factory's biggest hydraulic press. Objects arrive from the right on the conveyor. Time the press, flatten the target cleanly, and build a mountain of crushed debris below the belt.

How To Play

1. Open index.html in a modern browser.
2. Select Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 by clicking a panel or pressing 1, 2, or 3.
3. Press Enter when an object is under the crusher.
4. Use the on-screen speed slider below the score board to increase the game speed. The slider starts at the selected level's base speed and can rise to three times that speed.
5. Watch the disposal pit. Every object that passes the press falls into the bottom area and adds to the debris pile.

Keyboard

• 1, 2, 3: choose level from the start screen.
• Enter: activate the hydraulic press.

Mouse Or Touch

• Click a level panel to begin.
• Drag the speed slider to raise or lower speed.
• Click the game screen outside the slider to fire the press.

Scoring

Result	Points
Object completely crushed in one shot	Maximum points: 1000
Object partially crushed	Points are reduced in proportion to how much of the object was actually pressed.
Already-crushed section pressed again	No extra points for the same flattened area.
Object misses the crusher and passes through	0 points

The best score comes from patience and clean timing. Let the object line up under the entire press head before striking.

Levels And Speed

Level 1

Steady pace. Best for learning the timing window and how partial crushing works.

Level 2

Faster conveyor and faster press. Mistakes arrive sooner, but the machine responds faster too.

Level 3

Turbo pace. The conveyor moves much faster, and the press speed is increased for high-risk timing.

Speed Slider

The slider multiplies the selected level's speed from 1x to 3x. The music also speeds up, capped at 1.7x.

Objects

The conveyor delivers cars, buses, cubes, spheres, balls, cuboids, tables, chairs, pianos, computers, printers, TVs, vases, jars, stoves, and refrigerators. They are intentionally similar in size, so the challenge is timing rather than memorizing different hit boxes.

Installation

1. Keep index.html and Radetzky-Marsch.mp3 in the same folder.
2. Double-click index.html to play locally in your browser.
3. To share the game, copy both files together. The music will not play if the MP3 is missing or renamed.
4. No server, installer, or internet connection is required after the files are on the computer.

Operator Tips

• Do not chase every object. A full clean crush is worth more than a rushed partial hit.
• Use Level 1 to learn the press travel time, then move up when your timing feels automatic.
• On high speed, focus on the front edge of the object entering the press zone.
• The speed slider is a challenge dial. Push it right when you want a faster, louder arcade run.
